HOT YOGA for EVERY BODY

  For first time students :)

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.

 

  • Come to class hydrated........plenty of water up to an hour before class will do the trick…hydration is key!

 

  • Try to avoid meals at least 3 hours prior to class.  A light snack, such as a piece of fruit or coconut water, is appropriate if you need something closer to class.

 

  • Attire: Light, fitted exercise clothing (bike-style shorts, bra tops, etc) is ideal for hot yoga, but choose something you will be comfortable in.  Keep in mind that loose, baggy shirts and sweat pants are not recommended as they will bunch up and cling as you begin to sweat. However, baggier, more flowy clothing might be perfectly comfortable for the cooler kundalini environment.

        

  • Bring a yoga mat, large towel (beach towel is perfect) and water bottle.  These items are also available for purchase or rent at the studio.  You might also consider a cushion and/or blanket for the kundalini.
